Qatar to Host 2025 ISSF World Cup Final and 2026 World Shooting Championships
Qatar has been chosen to host two major shooting events the 2025 ISSF World Cup Final and the 2026 World Shooting Championships the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) announced on Friday.

While the exact dates are yet to be confirmed, both tournaments will feature rifle, pistol, and shotgun events.This marks the first time Qatar will host the ISSF World Shooting Championships, while it will be the fourth time the country has hosted an ISSF World Cup event.
Doha first welcomed the ISSF World Cup Final in 2001 for shotgun events and later held the prestigious final for all three disciplines in 2023, following an earlier shotgun leg in the same year.
In addition, the ISSF Executive Committee has approved changes to the 2026 ISSF World Cup Shotgun schedule. Originally planned for Rabat, Morocco, the event will now take place in Tangier from March 23 to April 2, 2026.
Meanwhile, Cairo, Egypt, will also be a key venue for young shooting talents. The Egyptian Shooting Federation has been selected to host a leg of the 2026 ISSF Junior World Cup from April 19 to 30, 2026.
