Williams has confirmed via social media that the team will be conducting a test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the venue of the Spanish Grand Prix. The team shared a video of their FW45 – their 2023 car – leaving the pit lane in Barcelona, with an on-screen caption teasing that a test is "incoming."

This test will mark Carlos Sainz's first official test as a full-time Williams driver, even though he previously drove for the team during the post-season Abu Dhabi test last year.

The test comes ahead of Williams' February 14 unveiling of their 2025 challenger, the FW47, which will be revealed at Silverstone. The launch will feature a special camo livery, as all 10 teams will showcase their new liveries on February 18 at F175, a special event at the O2 Arena in London.
