Former Australian cricketer Stuart MacGill Found Guilty in Cocaine Supply Case
Stuart MacGill has been found guilty of his involvement in a cocaine supply operation, as ruled by a jury in the New South Wales District Court on March 13.

While the court acknowledged that his role in the deal was limited, MacGill was still linked to a transaction that also involved two other alleged suppliers.
The 54-year-old ex-spinner, who represented Australia in 44 Test matches, now awaits sentencing in May, according to reports from Sky Sports. This verdict is yet another serious blow to MacGill, whose name has frequently made headlines in recent years for reasons far removed from cricket.
MacGill’s legal troubles aren’t new. Back in 2021, he was allegedly kidnapped, assaulted, and threatened before eventually being released. The incident shocked the cricketing world, leading to multiple arrests. MacGill, however, insisted he was simply an innocent victim caught up in a dangerous situation.
Now, with a fresh conviction tarnishing his record, the former Border-Gavaskar Trophy winner finds his personal struggles once again taking center stage. Once known for his spinning prowess, MacGill now faces an uncertain future, with his sentencing in May set to determine the legal consequences of his actions.
